an electronic package to improve teaching and evaluation of persian core vocabulary

چکیده
the development of the information and communication technology is considered as an effective step that has considerably changed in the educational goals, plans, and teaching procedures and improved educational effectiveness. introducing ‘the software for assessing and teaching core vocabularies to non-persian speakers’, the present study aims to accentuate the role of technology in the educational system, especially in language teaching and to take a step forward in expanding the scope of computer assisted language learning (call). the software test version was given to 20 learners who studied at tehran international primary school in 2012-2013. then, 20 educational software experts evaluated the developed version. having made the modifications, results indicated that the software had been largely successful in teaching persian core vocabulary to non-persian speakers.
